Bennie Solo

Babok is sending Bennie, on his own. His assignment: Be a kind friend for everyone; a cheerful presence in the streets. It is uncertain if Bennie can live up to these expectations. He has more to think of than happiness, selfies and entertainment.

Bennie Solo is theatrical research into ambivalence. It deals with the difference between how we present ourselves and who we really are. The outside image we establish versus the emotions we feel inside. What happens when one can no longer keep up the appearances?

Bennie Solo is the very first solo project of Babok, developped and performed by Guido Bevers.
